Hello loyal readers. For today’s edition, I will review Dormeos cat food. Do you guys already know? So the Dormeos brand is a brand from Germany.
If you want to equalize the level, it’s almost like RC, although it’s still different. Ok without further ado. Let’s review this Dormeos cat food.
Product Packaging
What I see from the packaging is quite thick, so it can symbolize the seriousness of this German manufacturer to maintain the contents of the packaging.
Meanwhile, the design part of the packaging, it differs depending on the variant. For example, the hair variant has a nice white design with complete information on the front and bottom.
While the feline variant has a less attractive design because there is only a sticker-like design on the front. Then for the back, it is even plain white without any information.
Packaging Size
What Dormeos is doing is quite unique too, I don’t know what that means. But the packaging sizes available are also different according to the brand.
Kaya Dormeos Feline has a packaging size of 15 Kg, while Dormeos Longhair instead has a packaging size of 10 Kg. And the one is 2.5 Kg
Well, if you find sizes other than 10 Kg, 2.5 Kg, and 15 Kg, it means that it is repack packaging.

Variants of Dormeos Cat Food
As far as I know, there are only Dormeos Dry Food with 3 different variants.
Here’s the list of variants:
- Dormeos Kitten
- Dormeos Longhair
- Dormeos Feline
The main difference between Dormeos Longhair, Feline, and Kitten is the function of the formula. If the Longhair one is specifically to nourish the fur and lengthen the fur if the Feline one is to increase weight / make the cat’s body ideal. While the kitten helps the development and growth of the kitten’s body
Kibble Shape
Each variant has a different kibble shape. Here I love the kibble table:
Variant | Kibble shape |
Dormeos Longhair | Circle (similar to split seeds) |
Dormeos Feline | Little donut |
Dormeos Kitten | Circle (similar to split seeds) |
For kittens, it’s good, the kibble size is small and slightly oily, so the texture is not too hard. Perfect for kitten food.
Composition and Nutrient Content
The following is the composition and nutritional content of Dormeos cat food:
ROHPROTEIN 30%, ROHFETT 12.0%, ROHFASER 2.5%, ROHASCHE 6.5%, CALCIUM 1.3%, PHOSPHOR 0.9%, NATRIUM 0.35%, MAGNESIUM 0.15%, OMEGA 3-FETTSUREN 3.5%, Etc.
You see, the magnesium content is very little, which is good for cats. While the protein is even a lot, of course, this is an advantage for this brand.
